Portsmouth Football Club and Fratton Park

Portsmouth Football Club is an English football club based in the south coast city of Portsmouth. The club is nicknamed Pompey, sometimes called 'The Blues', with their fans known as 'The Blue Army'.

They play in the Premier League. The club is currently owned by the Franco-Russian-Israeli Alexandre Gaydamak. They are the current holders of the FA Cup which was won in 2008 and the Barclays Asia Trophy.

Pompeys bitter rivals are local team Southampton who currently play in the Championship after being relegated in 2005. Mike Kent is a famous supporter of Portsmouth Football Club, known to some fans as 'the Guvnor' due to his ability to rouse the crowd.
