The Queen's Hotel has a professional and dedicated team, experienced in all aspects of Wedding arrangement and procedure, who would be delighted to advise and assist you with every detail to make the day a truly memorable occasion.
On the day itself, the management and staff will be waiting to greet and welcome you to the Queen's Hotel. Weather permitting, your receiving line and drinks reception will be held in our attractive gardens. The setting is ideal for photographs, which can be taken on the elegant steps leading up to the hotel.
The Queen's Hotel has a range of function suites with the flexibility to cater for many types of event and a variety of layouts. We are only too happy to discuss your room layout preferences and offer advice should you require it. Every care is taken to ensure the room looks perfect and has the right ambience from the moment you enter. We can even arrange for beautiful chair covers to co-ordinate with your colour scheme.
The Elizabeth Room: this spacious, airy room, in its Edwardian splendour, overlooks the garden. Crystal chandeliers and panelling enhance the feeling of grandeur. The Elizabeth Room has its own private bar and dance floor. The room can cater for up to 120 guests for a wedding breakfast and 150 guests for an evening reception. The minimum number for the Elizabeth room is 60 adults.
The Queen's Room: this attractive suite is ideal for the more intimate reception. It features large windows and a private bar, and is ideal for up to 60 guests. The minimum number for the Queen's Room is 50 adults.
Marquee: marquees provide a unique, romantic atmosphere and the hotel can arrange for you to hire a marquee in the garden.
A wide range of services such as discos, bands, table magicians and much more can be arranged for your evening reception to make it that extra bit special.

The Queen’s Hotel is licensed for Civil Wedding and partnership ceremonies.
The hotel will provide the venue for your marriage, however, the bride and groom must contact the Register Office directly to make the necessary arrangements for the civil service.
Provisional bookings will be held for you for 14 days to help assist with the planning of your special day.
A non-refundable deposit of £500 is required to confirm your booking along with a signed copy of our terms and conditions, a copy of which is available from our events department, any questions regarding the contract, please do not hesitate to ask the team.
